Festival plus MTF Private Friends Prelude on Friday!
Underwater Sunshine Festival, created by Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and Barbara Garrett, is an energetic two-night music festival that creates community through music discovery. The festival showcases rising and established artists talent to a growing family of fans, fellow musicians, music industry professionals, sponsors, and supporters. Since 2018, over 100 artists have performed at the nonprofit Festival and discovered each others music, formed collaborations, gained new fans, and made industry connections. Musician Treatment Foundation is a nonprofit that helps eligible professional musicians suffering with shoulder, elbow, and hand injuries receive free orthopedic care to maintain their livelihoods and keep the music playing for us all. MTF was founded in 2017 by orthopedic surgeon Dr. O. Alton Barron and its distinguished Board of Directors includes Elvis Costello, Rosanne Cash, Adam Duritz, Diana Krall, and John Leventhal. MTF and its nationwide Physicians for Musicians network have helped hundreds of musicians with surgical and nonsurgical care valued at over $3.5 million. MTF has been a long-time supporter of the festival and its beneficiaries have performed the Festival in recent few years as they will this year. The Cutting Room, created by co-owners Steve Walter and Chris Noth, has a decades long tradition of extraordinary performances and special moments. The rock club and lounge is as beautiful as the music it showcases, with a chandelier of 18 Fender guitars and a 46-foot mahogany wood bar evoking the shape of a Fender Stratocaster. MTF thanks VIP Festival Sponsors & Auction Donors: Atlantic Music Group, Gibson Gives, David Yurman, Soundwaves Art Foundation, Whiskey Thief Distilling Co. Please visit our auction page to see our fabulous offerings and register to bid. The auction items will be on view during the MTF Private Festival Prelude and closes at 7:00 PM when the Prelude ends.
Musician Treatment Foundation, as presenting partner of this year's festival, is pleased to host a private festival prelude and offer a limited number of MTF Friends Tickets which will admit you to both nights!
