Benefit Concert for MTF and Texas Jazz & Blues Camp!

Please join us for a night of amazing jazz with Bill Evans (sax), Mike Stern (guitar), Keith Carlock (drums), Gary Grainger (bass), Leni Stern (guitar), and a special guest to be announced. Opening the benefit will be students from the New School Jazz Club led by Joe Morales. Kevin Connor of A Hill Country Saturday on Sun Radio will be our host for the night. He will also be our auctioneer for two new beautiful autographed guitars: one Yamaha electric guitar signed by Mike Stern, Leni Stern, Gary Grainger, Keith Carlock, and Bill Evans to benefit MTF; and one Ibanez acoustic guitar signed by Lyle Lovett to benefit Texas Jazz & Blues Camp.

Musician Treatment Foundation helps injured professional musicians with free upper limb orthopedic care when they cannot afford this essential care they need. MTF's distinguished Board of Directors is chaired by founder Dr. O. Alton Barron and includes Elvis Costello, Rosanne Cash, Diana Krall, and John Leventhal. The Board contributes along with a tremendous band of supporters to keep the music playing for us all. Thanks to their generosity Dr. Barron and our nationwide Physicians for Musicians network, MTF has helped hundreds of musicians with care valued at nearly $3 million.

Texas Jazz & Blues Camp is an all-embracing one-week residential summer camp in Austin for children age 11 and up. The camp program is focused on musical and personal growth where students learn by playing with faculty greats and each other, and is led by Don Braden, a world-class tenor saxophonist, flutist, composer, and educator. Camp participation in this concert is supported in part by the Cultural Arts Division of the City of Austin Economic Development Department and a portion of ticket sales will fund scholarships for this year's camp June 15-20, 2025.

Parker Jazz Club is a beautiful cool basement lounge designed by a musician for musicians. Kris Kimura, a woodwind specialist, vocalist, composer, arranger, and bandleader for over 20 years, opened the club in 2018 and has hosted phenomenal local, national, and international acts. Kris has been a supporter of many music nonprofits, including MTF which chose Parker Jazz for part of its Musician Monday series during the COVID-19 pandemic and for its Together Again VIP Night on July 23, 2021 featuring Bill Evans, Mike Stern, Keith Carlock, and Viktor Krauss.

All tickets include complimentary drinks and one benefit poster. VIP and Premium tickets include early access, a signed benefit poster, and an invitation to a private listening event on Thursday, February 27.

Don't miss this magical night of music to support two great causes!
